Hello again! My blog is back, so I'm sure that's exciting for all 14 of you who noticed that it was missing. You may also notice that the site looks considerably different than previous iterations. It has taken me some time to get this going again because I've again switched CMSs - this time, from modx to Drupal. Both have their positives, but we use Drupal a lot for work, so it was a no-brainer to use that for my personal sites.
I'm hoping the setup will allow me to post more often, giving readers random tidbits of what's going on in the tech world. For those of you new to the site, my first newspaper column appeared in 1998, when I was a senior at Purdue University. I wrote a weekly column in 1999 for the Crawfordsville Journal Review, which appeared in both print and online editions, and I started writing a weekly tech-humor column in 2000 for the Owensboro Messenger-Inquirer. Yes, this was before the term "blog" even existed. Wow, I feel old.
And of course, I will continue to post updates for my books, including any upcoming events, which I'm hoping to announce in the near future!
