Coca-Cola has been treading in deep waters the last few months.
In March, the United Kingdom version of Dasani, the company's brand of bottled water, was found to just be tap water. And just a few weeks later, the drink was found to have a higher level of bromate, a cancer-causing chemical, than legally allowed.
The only reason I'm bringing this up now is because The Coca-Cola Company of Great Britain recently won the Ig Nobel prize for managing to convert tap water into undrinkable water. If you've never heard of Ig Nobel, you might want to check this website, especially if you're interested in silly science things.
Speaking of which, I'm surprised New Coke or Clear Pepsi never made the list.
