More than two years ago, I wrote a column about how people think I look like other people. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you see this), I'm not the only person who experiences this look-a-like problem. Here are some comments:
I was just surfing the internet because people are always telling me that I look familiar to them and it seems to be happening more and more. And actually, I don't think I resemble anyone famous. As a matter of fact, I think my look is unique and don't look like many others that I have come across. Was just curious to see what this phenomena means. And no, you don't look familiar to me!

You know its weird cause people tell me all the time that I look familiar--I mean like in line at Starbucks--while I'm eating dinner at a restaurant etc... and yes its always some movie star or some friend they think they have --but they can't really figure it out--they just think that they know me or something or that I must look like someone they know--Really I'm beginning to think that I haunt people's dreams. It starts to get creepy--does this happen to other people? Cause you're the only one I've ever heard talk about it!
-how I even found your email--article --is beyond me.

You look remarkably like a guy coincidentally named Ben in the drawing class I taught last semester. (sorry I don't have a picture of him). And I know how you feel! Though not to your extent, I get the same thing. Every time I leave the house, I'm compared to pretty much any celebrity with long blonde hair that you can think of, or else the 'where do I know you from?' line.

Not only that, but one person claimed I look like Jim Carrey, another sent me a picture of her son (in the same pose as myself and River, of course) and yet another girl found my column searching for River Phoenix.
At least I'd rather look a little like him than anything like Carrot Top.
